More photos are being leaked of the alleged Mi4 phone by Xiaomi.
Xiaomi will be launching their eagerly anticipated flagship phone on 22 July 2014
The Xiaomi Mi4 is expected to make its official debut next week, on July 22, so we'll soon know all there is to know about it straight from the source.
itechpost.comXiaomi is holding a launch event on July 22nd which is just a couple of days away from now, and is rumored to be the unveiling day of their upcoming flagship device and successor to the Mi3, the Xiaomi Mi 4.
androidheadlines.comDespite not being launched yet, many photos of the device are being leaked onto the Internet
Its Mi 3 successor which is rumoured as the Mi 3S or Mi 4 has appeared once again with a frontal shot of the device. The device shown is exactly the same as what we’ve seen earlier with a while colour front panel and the usage of thin bezels. Also retained is the 3 capacitive buttons at the front.
soyacincau.comOn July 6 2014, another photo of the device leaked online, this time in a production facility
According to the source, the picture of front panel was taken at one of Xiaomi’s contracted manufacturers in China. In terms of specs, early speculations suggest a Full HD display and runs on a faster 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM to stay on par with today’s flagship smart phones.
soyacincau.comAnother leaked photo spread around the Internet yesterday, showing the back and the front of the phone which is coherent with previous leaks
The back features a flat metallic looking design but it isn’t clear if it is actually made out of metal. It could still be plastic based with metallic appearance like its current Mi 3 smart phone. Over at the front, it is similar to what we have seen earlier but the 3 capacitive buttons below appears to be exaggeratedly enlarged which raises suspicion if this leak is genuine.
soyacincau.comThe pictures of the Xiaomi Mi4 leaked by Weibo users reveal a device which looks remarkably similar to the one shown in earlier renders. If you take a look at the picture on the right, you’ll see that the arrangement of the front speaker grill, the Xiaomi logo and other things are exactly in line with earlier renders. The overall design of the Xiaomi Mi4 is similar as well. However, the pictures still fail to shed detail on the back casing material of the device. According to reports by those who have handled the device, the back is made out of plastic.
wccftech.comThe Mi4 is rumoured to have top of the line processors and improvements all round. The price of the phone is rumoured to be the same as the Mi3, at RM1,023
The Mi 4 is said to be retaining its 5″ display size and is likely to be pushing Full HD resolution as its predecessor. The internals are expected to be pushing the top of the line 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM as well as support for 4G LTE. In terms of price, it is likely that the Mi 4 would follow its Mi 3 launch price of 1,999 Yuan (16GB) and 2,499 Yuan (64GB) which is equivalent to RM1,023 and RM1,280 respectively.
