You Can Now Play MiniGames On TikTok. Here's How It Works
There are 11 currently available in Malaysia.
Whether you're an avid consumer of short-form video content or not, you've definitely heard of TikTok
Users can now 'add a game' into their TikTok videos by linking the game directly to their posts when uploading their content.
To play, users must interact with a game already linked with a TikTok post, whether it's someone else's or your own.
After a testing phase in Vietnam earlier throughout the year, TikTok is now introducing a MiniGame feature in Malaysia
The Star reports that these games have been ready to play since 2019 on the Chinese version of TikTok called DouYin. Testing for the English version of TikTok began in May.
2. Then, record or choose the video you want to upload and tap 'Next'
6. Finally, you can just tap on 'Post' with your attached MiniGame
And that's it! People who come across your video on their FYP (for you page) will be able to play the game you've attached to your video. Even you can play it yourself.
