Jong-Kyun Shin, the president of Samsung's mobile business (pictured), told reporters attending a dinner in Seoul, Korea, that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would be fully revealed at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, at the end of February, according to iNews24 and reported by Engadget. As the name implies, it'll be an 8-inch tablet, very close in size to the iPad mini (which sports a 7.9-inch screen) as opposed to the 7-inch size of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, which was recently leaked, is expected to feature an 8-inch 1280×800p display, 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 5MP rear camera, 2GB RAM and Jelly Bean. According to some of the latest rumors, this 8-inch addition to the Galaxy Note tablet line will be displaying at 1200 x 800 resolution, feature a 5MP snapper around the back, and use 2GB of RAM. Reports on the CPU peg the tablet with either a quad-core Exynos 4 processor or an Exynos 5 Octa, the latest and greatest from Samsung that was revealed just a few weeks back during CES 2013. All in all it sounds like a decent tablet, but keep in mind that none of those internals have been confirmed by the company yet.
