The Samsung OLED Display Is Reportedly Installed In Over 70% Of iPhone 14 Variants

Samsung's OLED (organic light-emitting diodes) display is well-known to produce crisp image quality in excellent detail in their smartphones.
In fact, it is so good that even Apple uses them!
According to Korean news outlet TheElec, Apple is planning to manufacture 120 million units of its Apple iPhone 14 lineup, and at least 80 million of these units will have a Samsung OLED display.
This includes all of the iPhone 14 variants, from the base version to the iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Additionally, 20 million units will be using an LG display, while BOE, a Chinese manufacturer of smartphone panels, will supply six million units respectively.

SAMMOBILE reports that LG is also allegedly facing production issues, giving advantage to Samsung Display to provide their OLED panels to all variants of iPhones.
Currently, LG provides displays for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro Max, while BOE caters their displays to the regular iPhone 14 models only.
Samsung Display reigns supreme in global smartphone panel sales
According to a survey conducted by market research firm Strategy Analytics, Samsung Display captured 48% of the smartphone display market in 2021, as reported by SAMMOBILE.
