Innovative ideas are abundant. All it takes a little bit of vision, effort, and support to get our passion projects rolling. But sometimes, they are few and far between.

Thankfully, Kickstarter is one such platform dedicated to giving people a chance to shine their ideas and vision to a community of like-minded people so their ideas can be seen, heard, and appreciated.

We took a look at several of these projects, and here are some that stand out the most to us!

1. Capsule Gravity: A futuristic efficiency and productivity tool

Capsule Gravity is a 3-in-1 productivity tool, power bank, and accessory. It is appropriately named as 'Capsule Gravity' as it is controlled by a gravity sensor that initiates your countdown timer just as you flip the accessory. 

Its countdown and timer features can assist users to be more efficient whether they're working out, studying, cooking or anything, really! 

Plus, it's available in three colours and can also function as a swanky-looking accessory with a transparent design.

2. Lawna: A smart cyber mower powered by visual AI

A lawnmower that looks like a futuristic electric car? Yes please! 

Lawna is a fully automated mower bot powered by Visual AI. As such, it is able to set virtual boundary lines, divide work areas, and even arrange optimal working schedules all via an app on your phone. 

What this means is, you'll be able to keep your lawn well-maintained without putting in too much physical effort. LawnaTech, the brains and development behind Lawna also claims that with the AI-powered machine, you'll free yourself from the hassle of maintenance.

3. NANO: A self-powered portable gaming monitor

As Malaysians, we love to sapot lokal, and what better way to do that than by promoting this self-powered portable monitor from Armory Labs, a computer service and tech brand based right here in Malaysia. 

Their kickstarter project, NANO, is a portable gaming monitor equipped with a 5000mAh battery. But that's not all! 

It also packs an intuitive 10-point touch screen that supports swipe, scroll, drag, and pinch gestures so you can make the most out of your gaming or studying. Furthermore, it comes with a whopping 165Hz refresh rate for precise visual detail, alongside a USB-C and a HDMI port for easy connection with an array of devices from your smartphone and gaming consoles to laptops and more!

4. Wicked Egg: An interactive pet toy and treat dispenser

Pet owners know the crushing feeling of leaving our furry pals alone when we have to leave the house. Sometimes they would wait by the door for hours, just waiting... until we get back :'( 

Fortunately, with Wicked Lab's interactive toy and treat dispenser, they'll have something to keep themselves entertained while we're away. It works by automatically moving every time your pets interact with it. It also dispenses treats after your pets tilt it down a number of times.

Not only that, it also automatically lights up and creates pre-programmed varied movements and sounds to keep your furbaby happy and entertained.

5. iZYREC: a micro and efficient voice recorder

iZYREC helps you capture the important moments that you listen to in life, efficiently and conveniently. The professional voice recorder captures crystal-clear audio with enhanced noise cancellation, a seven-meter recording distance, and a 32GB storage.
