Ultra-Fast 500kW V4 Tesla Superchargers Arriving In 2025
Tesla is also launching its 1.2MW charging for the upcoming Tesla articulated lorries.
Tesla is gearing up to launch its fully upgraded V4 Supercharger stations next year
These stations will offer significantly faster charging speeds, reaching up to 500kW for electric vehicles and a massive 1.2MW for Tesla's articulated trucks.
While Tesla began installing V4 charging stalls in several locations last year, those were limited by older technology. The new V4 stations coming in 2025 will have enhanced electronics that unlock the full potential of the V4 stalls, enabling much faster charging for the Cybertruck and other EVs.

The 500kW V4 Superchargers also come with a slew of upgrades
Besides faster charging, Tesla's V4 Supercharger stations will offer several improvements designed to enhance the charging experience.
These include new payment terminals for easier transactions, longer charging cables that can reach various EV charging ports without awkward parking, and CCS connectors that eliminate the need for adapters for non-Tesla EV owners. These upgrades make the Supercharger network more convenient and accessible for a wider range of EV drivers.
Previously, Tesla launched two V4 Superchargers in IOI City Mall and IOI Mall Puchong
However, these chargers are limited to 250kW and lack some of the upgrades mentioned above.
Tesla has yet to confirm if the upgraded V4 will reach Malaysia, though we suspect it is a matter of time before it is launched in the country.
