There Will Be Gymnastics, Wushu, And More At eCurve's Sizzling CNY Variety Show
It's even going to include an Asian-inspired hip hop dance performance!

It's not Chinese New Year in Malaysia until you start hearing CNY songs everywhere you go and all the malls start putting up their themed decor
This year, eCurve is set to impress with a theme reminiscent of the vibrant and modern streets of Hong Kong.
To replicate this effect, their decor will feature shaded shoplots, bright lights, and luminous signage, all topped off with a sea of multi-coloured Chinese New Year lanterns hanging high above, to create an electrifying downtown ambience.
But the main highlight will definitely be their Sizzling CNY Variety Show, consisting of various not-to-be-missed street acts
It will be taking place twice a day on weekends and public holidays from 19 January to 18 February at the Centre Atrium.
Azizul Hisham Ahmad, the Centre Manager of eCurve, said that "to celebrate the start of the festive season, we wanted to recreate the dazzling yet loud charm of the city streets with a grand celebration...we truly believe that patrons will be entertained by the various performances lined-up..."
Here are all the impressive performances you can look forward to watching:
1. Dancers dressed in bright red and gold colours will capture the celebratory atmosphere of the festive season with a swift and spirited flag dance. You'll be mesmerised by the whirlwind of colour they create.
2. You definitely don't want to miss the acrobatic feats of a talented gymnast who will be using ribbons and balls in a dazzling display of grace and balance.
3. Skillful performers in the sensational wushu performance will be bringing thrills and excitement in their heart-stopping sword and spear fight.
4. The aptly named Straw-Hat dancers will having you on your feet grooving and partying along to their Asian-inspired hip hop dance routine.
5. The various comedic routines and acts lined up will definitely make you laugh till your stomach hurts.
Besides all that, you'll also be able to catch some acrobatic lion dance performances as well as welcome good fortune for the year by meeting the God of Prosperity as he walks around the mall.
But best of all, there's going to be loads of CNY sales, promos, deals, and discounts!
There's even going to be a bazaar with tons of CNY merchandise, including clothes, accessories, and much more on sale so you can get a head start on all that CNY shopping.

On 30 January, they'll be inviting 20 senior citizens and their caretakers from Rumah Orang Tua Seri Setia for a simple but fun CNY celebration with the eCurve management team and media.
They'll get to watch the Sizzling CNY Variety Show and will also be treated to a yummy lunch at Pak John Steamboat & BBQ restaurant in eCurve.
