What is the story behind this gruesome robbery?
The victim, an IT consultant, was attacked and robbed at an ATM in Kota Damansara when he was checking his bank balance after just depositing RM1,000 into his account
The perpetrator disguised himself in a helmet and threatened the victim with a knife and forced him to withdraw the money. A violent struggle began when he refused to hand over his ATM card.
The robber, however, managed to flee with his accomplice, leaving with RM1,000 and an iPhone. The victim had to get 14 stitches from lacerations on his head and hand.
