Now, tabloids across the Western world and some in Asia are reporting that the North Korean strongman will host a matchmaking contest —modeled after dating game shows popular in the West — to marry off his sister Kim Yo-Jong. Let that sink in for a moment!

That a ruthless dictator of an authoritarian state, who sits on a pile of a nuclear arsenal, is actually hosting a "Take Me Out-style" matchmaking contest, to find a suitable man for his sister, North Korea's most powerful woman.

However, an unlikely thing it may seem, it certainly makes for a good read.

28-year-old Kim Yo-Jong — who was rumoured to have been married to the son of Choe Ryong-Hae, the powerful party secretary — is currently the most powerful woman in the reclusive state

Jang Sung Taek, the uncle whom the North Korean dictator had executed, in 2012 had unsuccessfully tried to find a husband for her

Back then, according to an anonymous North Korean defector cited in this The Sun report, only men who were good looking, at least 5-foot-10 in height, graduates of the elite Kim Il-sung University and with military backgrounds were eligible.

The Sun reports that the selection process is similar to Paddy McGuinness's hit ITV show where 30 lovelorn ladies vie for the attentions of one man — just that is this version, there would be 30 eligible men vying for the hand of one woman: Kim Yo-Jong!
