The price of Rapid KL's MyCity 1-Day Pass, which can be used on all public transport services in the Klang Valley, has been increased starting today, 8 March

The MyCity Pass, which was first introduced in 2019, includes the MyCity 1-Day Pass and the MyCity 3-Day Pass. It is an unlimited daily travel pass specifically for Rapid KL users.

Accessible through Touch 'n Go cards, the travel pass allows public transport users to travel to any location in the Klang Valley.

It grants unlimited access to all LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT, Rapid Bus, and intermediate LRT and MRT bus services, regardless of the destination or number of stops.

In a recent announcement, Prasarana Malaysia Berhad stated that the price of the MyCity 1-Day Pass will increase by RM1 from 8 March. However, the price of the MyCity 3-Day Pass will remain unchanged.

Starting 8 March, the MyCity Pass prices are as follows:

Malaysians will now pay RM6 for the MyCity 1-Day Pass, up from its previous price of RM5), while the MyCity 3-Day Pass will continue to be priced at RM15.

Meanwhile, non-Malaysians will be charged RM10 for the MyCity 1-Day Pass and RM25 for the MyCity 3-Day Pass.

The prices mentioned above exclude the cost of the Touch 'n Go card.

The company explained that the price increase for the MyCity 1-Day Pass is parallel to the expansion of the rail line in the Klang Valley

This expansion includes the Putrajaya Line last year and the upcoming opening of the Shah Alam LRT Line early next year.

MyCity passes can be purchased at customer service counters at LRT, MRT, Monorail, and BRT stops, as well as select bus hubs. They can also available for purchase online via the MyRapid PULSE app, starting from 11 March.
