"I was leaving the mall with my wife before I realised there were oil puddles near the parking lot's exit," Mr. Chai was quoted as saying by China Press.

"We couldn't avoid the puddles in time, so our motorcycle skidded and we were thrown off as well," he added.

Mr. Chai sustained injuries on his right arm and leg, while his wife had a bruised kneecap.

Mr. Liu, a Singaporean, said that people could easily fall on the parking lot's oily ground.

"There were no signs in place to warn people about the oily ground, and the employee at the scene did not tell other motorcyclists about the incidents as well," he said.

He added that this caused six motorcyclists to sustain injuries under 30 minutes. Five of the six victims were Singaporeans.

According to the victims, not only did the employee do nothing to help them, he also began insulting them for riding motorcycles

The victims Mr. Chai, Mr. Liu, and Ms. Chew expressed their frustration at the mall's employee.

Mr. Liu said that the employee blamed the victims for not being careful while riding their motorcycles.

"If you rode a little slower, you wouldn't have fallen," the employee was quoted as saying by Mr. Liu.

According to Mr. Liu, the employee also said he was lucky to not have fallen because he drove a car.
