One Syima Mohamad took to Facebook to warn others about a man who sexually assaulted her while she was on the Putra LRT recently.

"Deep breath. I feel that I need to speak up about my horrible experience today morning."

"He tried to sexually assault me on Putra LRT today by rubbing his ('willy') up against me, on the freaking LRT! Astaghfirullah," she wrote on 8 November.

Syima said that was not sure where he had come from but the incident happened at the Universiti station and his stop was at the Bangsar station.

While she was panicking deep inside, she tried to calm down and did the first thing that came to her mind — scream

"I know you know that he is nothing more than a coward."

"And I know a burst of mace to his face would have been good, but sadly I didn't carry one at the time. So, hang memang nasib baik setan," Syima wrote.

"But I'm so, so proud of myself. Because I have shouted and screamed right to his face. I even yelled out loud to all the ladies in the LRT to be careful and avoid standing close to him."

"Though no one came forward to help but I kept on shouting to alert everyone. But, not a single soul (came forward) to help, really?"

Syima said that some people have accused her of being dramatic and overreacting for causing a scene but she insist that she did the right thing.

"I'm not ashamed. The setan perverts (are the ones) who should feel ashamed!"

She added that she takes pride in reacting quickly to prevent the situation from aggravating further, instead of doing nothing and letting the man take advantage of the situation.

"I fought for my dignity and self-worth. I defended myself when no on else could."

Syima has urged everyone, particularly women to be vigilant

"Ladies, please, please be extra cautious and try your best to stand away from this guy. Try to memorise his face, please."

"This is the best picture that I could get as the Putra LRT was so packed and this setan (devil) was trying to hide his setan face away from me. Coward."

Apparently, this is not the first time the man in question has sexually assaulted other women

Many other netizens have come forward to testify that they themselves or someone that they know has an unpleasant encounter with the same man who sexually assaulted Syima.

Following Syima's testimonial, others have followed suit and posted their own stories, warning others of the culprit, who is believed to be a serial pervert.
