New Leaked Images Suggest Apple Might Release 3 Versions Of The iPhone 7
We're gonna be spoiled for choice.
Another day, another leak on the iPhone 7. According to fresh information, Apple will be releasing three models of the iPhone 7 - the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro. And now they have all lined up for a family portrait.
The image, which first surfaced on French tech website Nowhereelse.fr (via Weibo, of course), suggested that Apple might be releasing the iPhone 7 in three iterations. Nowhereelse is known for being spot-on and accurate with speculations and leaks.
The "S" below the iPhone branding, may or may not be a hint at the iPhone 7's name.
Another image showcases the front of the three models, each differs in size and specifications
The iPhone 7 Pro features a dual-lens camera and a Smart Connector, while the iPhone 7 Plus and the iPhone 7 feature single-lens cameras and no Smart Connector.
The Smart Connector is a port first made exclusively for the 9.7 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models. It is used to transfer data and power to accessories like the keyboard and mouse.
Early rumors did indeed suggest Apple was working on two versions of the 5.5-inch iPhone for release in 2016, but those rumours were later retracted and information has solidified around a single 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus with a dual-lens camera.
Although Apple isn't projected to make any official announcements regarding the presumed iPhone 7 until this September, that hasn't stopped the world from speculating with urgency
A few days back, a leaked video posted on Weibo gave everyone an early glimpse at the iPhone 7. The video confirms a few major changes, namely the removal of the headphone jack and a larger camera lens.
Let's not forget the analyst in China that claimed Apple will be ditching the 16GB model
The analyst who works at IHS Technology in China has links to Apple's supply chain.
It's safe to say that the iPhone 7 rumour season is now in full swing! But do take every leak and rumour with a grain of salt, though! Nothing is confirmed until Tim Cook and company make them official.
Apple will be releasing the iPhone 7 sometime in September.
