Alan Walker, who was set to perform at Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon in Kuala Lumpur on 22 June, has announced that he had to postpone the concert to a later date

The Norwegian EDM artiste recently took to Instagram to explain that he visited Malaysia within the past few weeks to promote his Walkerworld Southeast Asia Tour Pt. 1, and was very excited to perform here.

However, he shared that due to "unforeseen, unexpected, and very unfortunate circumstances" that are completely and entirely out of his and his teams' hands, they had to postpone the show until a date later this year.

"I am so sorry for this late announcement and for letting all of you down, but I can promise you that we will honour our commitment to each and every one of you that has bought tickets for this show and have been patiently waiting for Walkerworld to arrive in Malaysia," he added.

Walker revealed that he will return in the fall, which is sometime between September and November this year

"For any of you not willing and able to wait until we come back in the fall, you can seek a refund for your tickets from the local promoter, Megatix. You can submit your refund request to enquiries@megatix.my before 5pm, 20 July 2024," reads the announcement.

"Again, our sincerest apologies for not being able to go through with this show now as planned and hoped for, but I truly hope to see you all in the fall," he added.

According to the Megatix website, a proposed date by Alan Walker will be by November 2024.
