As part of the Bekpes Hot Tawan Puncak Kinabalu campaign, the Bekpes Hot team, consisting of popular hosts KJ, Johan, Fara, and AG, set out on the climb yesterday, 14 November.

They were joined by several expedition partners, including:
- Datuk Muqharabbin Mokhtarrudin (Qobind), the youngest Southeast Asian to climb Mount Everest
- Dr Hazwan Khair, Chief of Sports Medicine for Selangor FC, who served as the medical officer and health advisor for the expedition
- Rozlinawaty (Ozlynn Waty)
- The Hot FM crew

They began their ascent from Timpohon Gate in Kinabalu Park at 8.30 am on 14 November

After reaching Panalaban Base Camp at 3,272 meters above sea level around 6.58pm on the same day, they rested before continuing to the summit at 3am today, 15 November. At 6.15 am, the Bekpes Hot team and their expedition group reached the 4,095.2-meter summit of Mount Kinabalu.

Due to health reasons, Fara had to stop her climb and was unable to reach the summit. Accompanied by a guide, she began her descent at 8am and returned to Timpohon Gate by 2.40pm.

Marking this incredible feat, Hot FM was awarded a certificate from the Malaysia Book of Records for setting a new record for the Longest Non-Stop Radio Broadcast on Mount Kinabalu

It has been recorded in the Malaysia Book of Records as a new achievement, as no other Malaysian radio station has ever attempted a live broadcast like this.

This certificate was presented by Megat Faris Hussein from the Malaysia Book of Records, who also joined the climb to document this historic moment at Panalaban Base Camp before continuing the descent.

The goal of the Bekpes Hot Tawan Puncak Kinabalu campaign was to show that Hot FM is more than just a radio station, by taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Kinabalu while broadcasting non-stop

This achievement also highlights the station's resilience and technical ingenuity in keeping its broadcast seamless throughout the ascent. As the first Malaysian radio station to take on this challenge, Hot FM underscores its dedication to staying relevant and connecting deeply with listeners.

"The success of Bekpes Hot in reaching Kinabalu's summit is a deeply proud achievement. The perseverance and camaraderie of KJ, Johan, and AG in supporting Fara Fauzana, who made it to Laban Rata despite facing many challenges, reflect their solidarity.

"This is the spirit Hot FM brings – always by our fans' side in any situation. That's why Hot FM remains Malaysia's number one choice," said Raja Khairil Idris Raja Aznan, Senior Content Director of Hot FM.

Congratulations, Hot FM!
