A hilarious moment featuring Michelle Yeoh and her Wicked co-stars has stolen the spotlight during the 2025 Golden Globe Awards last night, 6 January

In a short clip shared by Variety, the Malaysian icon performed a short bit with her Wicked co-star, Jeff Goldblum, hilariously discussing Gen Z slang in confusion.

The 30-second clip starts with Yeoh asking Goldblum, "What's a zaddy?", before she continues incredulously, "And the same people have been saying that I'm serving mother?"

Looking to her younger co-stars, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, for answers, Yeoh also asked, "And slay the boots house down?"

Her adorable confusion had the whole room laughing as Erivo and Grande echoed with their support.

For good measure, Yeoh also clarified with a laugh, "Come on, I would never slay anyone's house down," receiving a round of applause before carrying on with the night.
