A group of Malaysians dazzled the audience with a spectacular fireworks display at the 2024 Honda Celebration of Light in Vancouver, Canada last week
The show by Team Pyro Tact, representing Malaysia, captivated the crowds who gathered along the shorelines of Vancouver's English Bay for a breathtaking 25 minutes on Wednesday night, 24 July.
The Honda Celebration of Light is one of Vancouver's largest and most well-known summer festivals and the largest offshore fireworks competition in the world.
The event took place on 20, 24, and 27 July, featuring teams from Portugal, Malaysia, and the UK this year.

Team Malaysia's performance on the second night of the event marked the country's first-ever appearance at the annual international fireworks competition
It was also Team Pyro Tact's first time competing in Vancouver.
The theme of their show, 'Majestik in the Dark', featured a playlist of popular songs and ballads from a variety of genres including pop, rock, and electronic dance music (EDM), capturing many attendees' attention.
According to Daily Hive, the Kuala Lumpur-based pyrotechnics company was founded in 1992 and has participated in fireworks competitions in Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Macau.

The Malaysian team's impressive show has since gone viral on social media, with netizens comparing its sensational pyrotechnic display and soundtrack to an epic hardstyle rave
While there were all-time favourite songs such as All By Myself by Celine Dion and Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance, many social media users applauded the team's effort in including hardstyle EDM hits such as Wake Up by Brennan Heart and Bella Ciao by Hardwell and Maddix.
