Anwar Steals The Spotlight Again For Wearing RM2.40 Socks From ECO-Shop & M'sians Love It
Another day, another slay for our Prime Minister.
Since being sworn in as the 10th Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has made several headlines for his use of inexpensive everyday items
Last month, SAYS reported that images of the Prime Minister using an Artline pen during his swearing-in ceremony went viral on social media. The pen then quickly sold out at stores across the country.
Not long after, Anwar drew the attention of Malaysians when he refused to accept a Mercedes S600 purchased by the Prime Minister's Office as he wanted to cut wasteful spending.
He was then lauded by netizens after he was seen strutting down his office with just a pair of capal sandals on his first day in office on Friday, 25 November.
This time around, Malaysians are talking about his socks.

Anwar was recently spotted wearing a pair of socks that some Malaysians have recognised as being sold at the RM2.40 retail chain, Eco Shop
The premier shared several photos from his meeting with the 4th Crown Prince of Pahang, which was held yesterday, 18 December, to his Twitter account.
"With the honour of the Regent of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, I humbly thank you for agreeing to meet with me this morning," said Anwar in a tweet.
While the Prime Minister posted the photos to express his gratitude, Malaysians were more interested in his fashion choices, pointing out that Anwar was wearing a cheap pair of socks.
