BTS Gets Featured In English SPM Trial Paper And The ARMY Is Overjoyed
Now you can officially test-ify whether you're a true BTS fan.
Who would've thought knowledge of your favourite K-Pop band could pay off academically?
South Korea's soft power has grown to the point that K-Pop is now being featured in the Malaysian education system, and leading the charge is their most successful enterprise in the form of seven very talented (and very cute) boys.
On 10 November, a Twitter user posted a few photos of their English trial Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) papers. To their delight, they discovered that Part 3 of the paper featured multiple choice questions (MCQ) related to the globally renowned K-Pop group, BTS.
The passage of the SPM trial paper detailed their beginnings as trainees at Big Hit Entertainment, and their subsequent rise to global superstardom

Based on the excerpt, it appears students were asked questions about BTS, such as which themes they explore in their songs, the genre of music they debuted with, and even the year they entered the global music market.

Other questions included the name of their latest concert, the number and type of awards they've won, the social causes they've championed, and, funnily enough, the main purpose of the entire passage.

Fans of BTS won't even need to read the passage to ace this test!
The tweet has garnered more than 6,000 likes so far, with fans of the K-Pop band claiming they could answer the questions in their sleep.

Another user lamented how these K-Pop exam questions are a sign of the times, and that it would've never happened in their generation.

BTS fans were also highly amused at the thought of haters of the K-Pop group being forced to answer these questions.

Other mega fans said the teacher who wrote up the passage and MCQs must be an ARMY member themselves.

The final question now is: Would you ace this exam?
