"I Got Tickets, You Don't" — Coldplay Fan Uploads Concert Ticket On Carousell Just To Flex

The user didn't make the Carousell post to sell their tickets, but just to show off that they got them.

Malaysians have been on their gadgets since early in the morning yesterday, 16 May, in order to get their hands on tickets for Coldplay's upcoming concert in November

Fans of the band have been waiting for them to come to Malaysia for years, with many taking to social media to declare that they will go to any lengths to watch the band perform live.

Some even went the extra mile by using, not one, but three devices to sit in queue while waiting patiently for their turn to choose their seats and check out.

Amidst the chaos of securing the concert tickets, the Malaysian Twitter-sphere exploded with disgruntled fans who were unable to secure a seat for the once-in-a-lifetime event.

While news of scalpers reselling tickets to the show at exorbitant prices is making headlines, one Carousell user caught netizens' attention for the funniest reason

In a tweet shared by Twitter user @elizaachaii, the woman said that she came across a hilarious online listing for Coldplay's concert tickets.

She also attached a screenshot of the listing, which shows the Carousell user claiming to offer four CAT 2 tickets for RM3,082.

Interestingly, the user wrote in the listing description that those tickets aren't actually for sale, but they were only posting them to show off that they managed to do the impossible.

"For show only. I got the tickets, you don't :P" they wrote.

The Carousell listing left netizens on Twitter laughing in amusement (and inducing jealousy in some)

One Twitter user wrote that the listing is the perfect definition of flexing.

"I hope every single time they charge their phone, they forget to turn on the switch," cursed another in jest.

"I hope they will always hit their toe at the corner of tables," another user commented.

Meanwhile, SAYS has already observed concert tickets being sold at exorbitant prices on several unofficial reseller sites:

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar made a cute video dedicated to Coldplay to welcome them to Malaysia:
