Hotel In Hong Kong Serves 'Dim Sum' For Doggos So Pets Can 'Yum Cha' Also
So 'barking' cute.
A five-star hotel in Hong Kong is now offering 'dim sum' for dogs to enjoy so they don't feel left out when they're on holiday with their owners
Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong shared photos of their new 'Doggy Dim Sum' cart that's available at The Farmhouse's dog-friendly outdoor garden terrace.
Inside the pet-friendly 'dim sum' baskets are steamed meatballs, braised cod with fish maw, braised quail eggs, duck with capelin, and braised chicken fillet with goat milk, according to South China Morning Post (SCMP).
On top of the 'dim sum', the hotel also provides a range of steamed treats and birthday cakes for dogs
After their feast, dogs and their 'hoomans' can walk off the calories by heading to the nearby dog park, dog-friendly mall Harbour North, or the waterfront promenade.
"Yum cha is such an iconic Hong Kong experience, and is traditionally one of the ways in which families gather to spend quality time with each other," Patrick Sin, general manager of Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong said to SCMP.
"A 'doggy yum cha' was therefore the perfect way to celebrate dog-families and enable them to create new memories together."
So far, the doggy dim sum has been a hit among guests, he said
