In the request section on the foodpanda app, Darryl expressed his true love for the fast-food chain.
He wrote, "If KFC has a million fans, then I am one of them."
"If KFC has ten fans, then I am one of them. If KFC has only one fan, then it is me. If KFC doesn't have any fans, that means I am no longer on this earth. If the world is against KFC, then I am against the world. I will love KFC until my last breath," he wrote further.
In the end, he ended the note with, "Please give thighs."

The man shared with SAYS that he took inspiration from his friend who used to write poems to their football team manager so he could be one of the main players.
"So I thought, why don't I try using it when ordering KFC?" he said.
"The pandemic has made things difficult for us to travel to our favourite KFC outlet. It's easier when we're at the outlet because we can ask the staff personally for our favourite parts using facial expressions and tone of voice.
"But ordering online? That's a challenge!" he added.
He also noted that he has ordered KFC online multiple times and tried many different tactics to get his favourite chicken part. However, his efforts were to no avail.

To everyone's surprise, his little trick worked this time around.
He told SAYS, "I almost cried when I opened the KFC box."
The man from Subang Jaya also noted that he was very thankful.
He said, "Shoutout to KFC Malaysia and all their employees for doing the best they can to accommodate their customers' requests, especially during this pandemic. Tough times. Mad respect to all of you!"
