US discount chain Five Below has put up a hilariously desperate sign, pleading with customers to stop flipping their plush dolls' hair backwards

For some reason, mischievous customers have taken a peculiar joy in flipping their Wednesday Addams plushie's hair back, exposing her bald scalp and turning her into the latest social media joke.
"Please do not flip [the] hair (we get it, she's bald underneath). Thank you," reads the notice signed off by the store's management, who are clearly fed up with this bizarre trend.

The Wednesday Addams plushie is supposed to look iconic with her signature fringe and two neatly braided pigtails:
