South Korea Named Asia's Top Food Destination, Malaysia Ranks 5th
Agoda surveyed 4,000 users who had completed bookings in various markets.

Digital travel platform Agoda has unveiled the top destinations in Asia that travellers visit specifically for a culinary trip, and South Korea tops the list
According to Agoda's survey, 64% of travellers to South Korea shared that Korean food is their main reason for visiting the country.
The land of kimchi, K-BBQ, and fried chicken is followed closely by Taiwan (62%), with Thailand (55%), Japan (52%), and Malaysia (49%) completing the top five.
The study surveyed over 4,000 Agoda users after they completed bookings to destinations in various markets.
Meanwhile, Malaysian travellers who listed food as their main reason to travel, ranked Thailand as the the top foodie destination, followed by Indonesia and Taiwan
Interestingly, Malaysia was named the top foodie destination by travellers from Singapore.
