Nothing is initially amiss as the video posted by TikTok user @sayakanauni0 begins with a close-up of what looks like a regular box of cinnamon rolls.
The video caption, however, says, "Just noticed" with a teary smiley emoji.
The video then pans to another part of the box, where a lizard can be seen inside the box in between two cinnamon rolls.
The TikTok user explained in the caption that she had already eaten two of the cinnamon rolls before realising there was a dead lizard inside.

At the time of writing, the nightmare of a TikTok has garnered over 155,500 views and 5,400 likes
One TikTok user said that she didn't even notice the lizard at first, and only saw it after checking the comments section.
"Why did I scream when I saw the lizard?" wrote another user.
One commenter expressed her shock by saying, "I immediately tossed my phone away."

"Did you accidently get a cicak add-on?" asked a netizen.
Some even said that the lizard was there for extra protein and flavour.
