2 Poodles Just Got Married In Penang And I Can't Even Get A Text Back
We now pronounce you, dog and dog!
Whilst some of us still can't seem to find ourselves 'the one', these poodles had a dream wedding of their own
With the help of their paw-rents, Oshi (the groom) and Mocha (the bride), barked their vows during their wedding ceremony on Saturday, 9 July.
The wedding was held in Mocha's owner's own garden and it was truly a beautiful experience. In the video posted on TikTok, Mocha can be seen walking down the aisle in the arms of her owner, Chin Hoi Cheng.
Mocha was all decked out in a white doggy wedding dress and was brought towards the altar where her beloved groom, Oshi, was waiting for her
His owner, Doreen, was there beside him at the altar as well. He looked rather strapping in his doggy groom suit.
Even the bridesmaids and groomsmen looked just as adorable as the bride and groom
And just like a traditional wedding, Oshi and Mocha had their very own wedding entourage! They comprised of the maid of honour, best man, ring bearer, and the flower girl, just to name a few.
Oshi and Mocha's love story started at the dog training centre where both poodles go to for lessons
In a conversation with SAYS, Chin said that Oshi would constantly go after Mocha during lessons and the pair would constantly be described as a couple. After a suggestion from a classmate, Chin decided to make Oshi and Mocha's relationship official.
With Chin's garden being the wedding venue, she invited 33 human guests and 16 four-legged ones to attend her dog's special day.
Chin mentioned that she had the whole she-bang at the ceremony in order to make the event a special experience
She had hired an event planner for decorations, a coordinator, and rented a public address (PA) system. The teachers of her dog training school were the dog wedding planners.
And no wedding is complete without good food; which was why Chin left no stone unturned and catered for food everyone, tail or not.
The ceremony had a dog wedding cake as well as dog-friendly canapes for the attending guests.
Chin mentioned that the wedding cake was made from salmon and sweet potatoes, so it was certainly a treat for the four-legged bride and groom.
When Chin posted the experience on her personal TikTok page, she was shocked to see that there were netizens who had something negative to say about the wedding
Contrary to the negative comments, there were others who thought the whole wedding ceremony was adorable and supported Chin
Whatever the comments were, she was just happy to be able to create wonderful memories through this ceremony
"God blessed us with a beautiful poodle wedding! Everyone had fun and enjoyed themselves in the event, and were so glad to be a part of it! It was an unforgettable, precious experience for all of us," Chin told SAYS.
