After months of hazy skies in Kuala Lumpur, one woman received a lovely surprise when a family of birds appeared to make themselves at home on her balcony

Geraldine Chin shared a photo of the unexpected visitors on social media, writing, "What a beautiful beautiful day! After weeks of haze in KL. Show me view from your balcony."

In the photo, the birds can be seen huddled together in the corner of her balcony, nestled among the leaves of one of her potted plants.

The cosy little scene appears to show a bird family, with one adult bird and two younger ones snuggling up together

According to Geraldine, this is actually the second time the birds have turned up in that same corner of her balcony.

Talk about having repeat customers! It seems like her little green corner has become a comfortable spot for the feathered family to rest and possibly even raise their young.

While most of us have been busy enjoying the clearer skies after weeks of haze, these birds seem to have found another reason to celebrate: a cosy little home away from home.
