Heartwarming Video Shows Rescued Kitten Being Given CPR By Firemen In Kedah

When things seem to be going bad, Malaysians can always count on our firemen to bring some much-needed hope.
Take this video of a bomba performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on a drowned kitten, for example.
In the late night of 8 August 2019, a freak storm swept through several northern states that lasted until the early hours of the next day.
Following the storm, the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia shared a video of its men rescuing a drowned kitten in Sungai Petani, Kedah.
"PB Aimirul and his friends worked hard to save a kitten which was hanging on to its life after getting caught on the roof of a house in Taman Sutera Idaman 1/7, Jalan Batik, Sungai Petani, Kedah," the post read.
In the video, the bomba can be seen performing chest compressions with two fingers on the drenched white kitten
When it seemed that all hope was lost, the kitten began to meow weakly around 30 seconds into the video.
The firemen even applied some ointment on the kitten after performing CPR on it.
The kitten seemed to be in good health following its rescucitation, as it chased after the firemen, before being wrapped up in a towel
