Te'Ja Studio has a host of art and craft workshops, including batik colouring on frames, tote bags, and caps. You can also learn to make your own tie-dye T-shirt, art resin keychains, and coasters. 

Prices start from RM25. They also sell their art and craft kits on Shopee so you can do them at home!

2. Novak Batik @ Midori Studio

Novak Batik is holding upcoming batik workshops at Midori Studio in Desa ParkCity. Participants will be provided with a 34cm in diameter round frame, fabric colours, art tools and materials, as well as several designs to choose from. 

Each class will run for three hours between 10am and 1pm. Prices start from RM150.

Get your creativity brewing at Jadi Batek, a batik fashion retailer that offers a variety of batik-making workshops, including batik drawing and colouring, scarf batik drawing, and pareo batik drawing, among others.

All materials will be provided and an artist will help guide you through the process.

If you're on a budget, check out Ainna Artwork on the ground floor at Central Market. For RM15, they provide all the tools and a 20cm × 20cm pre-designed canvas for you to try your hand at batik painting. You also have the option to come up with your own designs.

Aside from painting on canvases and bags, MyBatik offers traditional block stamping, batik cat painting, batik sarong painting, as well as silk shawl and silk scarf batik painting workshops.
