Ivor Xian Z recently shared her discovery and experience after testing it out for the first time.
The machine sits just outside One Half x ilaika cafe in Taman Paramount with a variety of disposable film cameras for you to select from.
All you need to do is choose what type of film camera you want on the screen, then pay for it (the machine accepts cashless payments!), and the camera will be released like any other vending machine
The process took her around three minutes.

Ivor said that she checked disposable cameras online before deciding to buy one, and they came up to around the same price, excluding delivery fees.
She decided to go with one of the Fujifilm cameras with 27 photos that cost RM59.

Though she recently posted the video, Ivor tells SAYS that she actually tested the machine back in May. With the photo limit, she adds that it took her some time to develop them because she wanted to carefully make use of each snap.
She had her photos developed and delivered by Darkroom8, which cost an additional RM20, bringing the total price of each photo to around RM3.
At the moment, One Half cafe is under renovation and a spokesperson notified SAYS that the vending machine will be operating from 10 October onwards.

Speaking of vending machines, IKEA and FamilyMart Malaysia have also started using them:
