KTMB Offers Luxurious Victorian-Themed Coach For You To Travel Comfortably To Hat Yai

Transport Minister Anthony Loke invites everyone to try out KTM Berhad's (KTMB) electric trains to hold events, such as weddings and business celebrations, on a journey.
The minister made the announcement during a press conference held on Thursday, 18 May, after attending a Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration organised by the train company, reported Sin Chew Daily.
He said that these trains are made with special occasions in mind, adding that weddings or honeymoons are perfect for this special coach.
"Those who are interested can have a wedding or a honeymoon inside the electric train, and there are double rooms available for newlyweds," he explained.

The Transport Minister also detailed some of the premium amenities available to passengers aboard the electric train
Loke said these open-leased electric trains are well-equipped with private rooms, en suite bathrooms, a restaurant, and a karaoke room, alluding to the special luxurious coach.
The luxury coach has also been outfitted with a special Victorian theme.
Speaking about the price to rent out the coach, the minister stated that it would be affordable.

Those who are interested can now make bookings via phone call
According to Facebook page ASEAN Skyline, the public can now rent out this luxurious coach through KTMB, but there are no fixed routes for the train at this time.
During the press conference, the minister also stated that these trains can travel throughout Peninsular Malaysia as long as they are on KTMB train tracks, which means passengers can travel all the way to Hat Yai, Thailand.
He added that the coach will only be available on KTMB's electric trains, and the number of trains may be increased based on public demand.
