According to New Straits Times, the book centres around Fariza's hometown of Tuaran, Sabah and showcases captivating folklore tales passed down from her grandmother, infused with a touch of magic.

The book also functions as an activity book, with a colouring section for kids to unleash their creativity while embarking on an enchanting journey through these cultural stories.

"I hope that this publication would inspire children and adults alike to appreciate and cherish our unique culture," said Fariza.

She also mentioned that she plans to write more books, each dedicated to different districts in Sabah.

Fariza's aim is to illuminate the state's rich diversity and cultivate a deeper appreciation for its unique characteristics and cultural heritage.

Fariza officially launched her book during the two-day Kaamatan festival at the Kadazandusun Cultural Association (KDCA) grounds in Penampang, Sabah on 30 and 31 May

Her book managed to grab the attention of Sabah Tourism, Culture, and Environment Assistant Minister Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, and State Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, reports The Star.

Joniston commended Fariza's dedication to preserve Sabah's cultural heritage for future generations.

"Through her efforts, she not only introduces young readers to the captivating tales from the many ethnic groups, but also inspires them to explore and appreciate their cultural roots," he explained.

Joniston also encouraged youngsters to draw inspiration from Fariza's work and contribute to preserving and promoting Sabah's folklore.
