M'sians Travelling To South Korea Can Submit E-Arrival Cards Up To 3 Days Before Arrival
Traditional paper arrival cards will still be accepted until the end of December 2025.
Starting 24 February, Malaysians travelling to South Korea can submit their electronic arrival card (e-Arrival Card) online ahead of their trip
This new system replaces the traditional paper arrival cards, making the immigration process faster and more convenient.
The e-Arrival Card is free and must be completed within three days before arriving in South Korea. It is required for all international travellers, except South Korean residents, K-ETA holders, and airline crew members.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to submit an e-arrival card:
1. Visit South Korea's official e-Arrival Card website.
2. Fill in your details, including passport information, flight or ship details, accommodation address in South Korea, contact info, and email address.
3. Submit the form. The e-arrival card remains valid for 72 hours, meaning if a traveller does not enter South Korea within that period, they will need to submit a new form.
The e-Arrival Card website supports multiple languages, including Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Russian.

For those who prefer traditional methods, South Korea will continue accepting paper arrival cards until 31 December 2025 to allow for a smooth transition
After this date, only online submissions will be accepted.
One e-Arrival Card can include up to nine additional travellers, making it convenient for families and groups.
Furthermore, travellers do not need to print or present a PDF copy of their form upon entry. For children under 14 years old, a family member must submit the form on their behalf.
