1. Taman Pudu Ulu

Taman Pudu Ulu is a great spot for outdoor activities, whether you're into football, jogging, walking, or simply relaxing with a picnic. The park features a football field, a playground with swings, and a well-maintained jogging and cycling path. Shaded gazebos are also available, perfect for picnics with family and friends.

You can reach the park by walking about 10 minutes from Exit B of Maluri MRT Station.

2. Taman Tugu

You can take the MRT and drop off at Semantan Station. Then, hop on the T820 feeder bus and ride six stops until you reach Tugu Negara. From there, the park is a 10-minute walk away.

3. Bukit Jalil Recreational Park

Bukit Jalil Recreational Park is a spacious green haven ideal for outdoor activities like walking, jogging, running, or enjoying a picnic with family. The park features well-maintained, safe paths and trails, making it a refreshing place for exercise amidst nature.

One of the park's highlights is the International Garden, where you can explore architecture from different countries like China, the Netherlands, and Chile — perfect spots for photos.

To reach the park, you can take the free shuttle service from Awan Besar LRT Station that will drop you directly in front of Pavilion Bukit Jalil. From the mall, it's about a five-minute walk across a white bridge that leads to the park.

KL East Park is a scenic, eco-friendly park located near KL East Mall, offering nature enthusiasts a tranquil retreat. This park is ideal for hiking, jogging, and birdwatching, with trails that cater to different fitness levels.

Entry to the park must be pre-booked on this website to avoid overcrowding. Once your booking is successful, you will be issued a QR code, which you'll need to present when you visit the park. The park is approximately a 20-minute walk from Gombak LRT Station.

5. Taman Saujana Hijau

Popular for picnics, photo shoots, and casual strolls, Taman Saujana Hijau in Putrajaya offers a European garden experience right in Malaysia. Divided into three themed gardens – European, Oriental, and English – each area is adorned with unique designs and gymnosperm plants like pines and juniper trees, which are living fossils dating back millions of years. 6. Taman Botani Putrajaya

Putrajaya Botanical Garden is one of the largest botanical gardens in Malaysia. Known as the "mother of all gardens", it showcases over 750 plant species from around the world, organised into 13 themed collections. Popular for jogging, cycling, and picnicking, the park offers well-maintained paths, scenic views, and even a water taxi for exploration. There's also a cosy café nearby, perfect for a relaxing break.

A standout feature is the Moroccan Pavilion, inspired by Moroccan architecture and Islamic garden design. The garden is divided into three main areas: the Ornamental Garden, the Ethno-Botanical Garden, and the Conservation Research Division.

Hop on the P108 Nadi Putra bus from the Putrajaya Sentral MRT Station that will transport you straight to this charming recreational park.

7. Permaisuri Lake Gardens

Taman Tasik Permaisuri spans 40 hectares, with a serene lake at its heart adorned by vibrant pink lotus flowers and lilies. The park's picturesque fountains and lush greenery create a tranquil atmosphere, making it ideal for picnics and leisurely strolls. Shaded picnic spots with concrete tables and stools are scattered around the lake. The park's main highlight is Laman Iskandar Puteri, a two-hectare garden with traditional Malay royal designs, blooming flowers, and rhythmic water fountains.

You can take the T401 MRT feeder bus from Cochrane Station that drops you directly in front of the lake gardens.

8. Kepong Botanic Gardens

Part of the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM), Kepong Botanic Gardens offers a serene escape into nature, attracting joggers, birdwatchers, hikers, and families. Located on the opposite end of the main FRIM campus, it provides a peaceful environment for nature lovers to enjoy its well-maintained greenery. There's also a 50m-high 'Forest Skywalk' and obstacle course to explore if you're feeling adventurous!

The park is accessible by the T110 feeder bus from Sri Damansara Timur MRT Station. Disembark from the Taman Ehsan bus stop and it's about an 11-minute walk from there.
