UPDATED on 8 October 2024: LOOOP has since moved to Damansara Kim, Petaling Jaya.
Whether your style has evolved over time or you just need a good spring clean, it's always a good idea to get rid of items every now and then
Clearing your wardrobe can feel like a rejuvenating, fresh start, especially clearing items you haven't worn in awhile or just can't fit anymore.
But let's be honest, it can feel quite difficult to take that first step.

To make it less stressful and give you a bit of incentive, there's a new thrift store in Taman Tun Dr Ismail that will help you sell your pre-loved clothes and pay you your earnings when your items sell

Opened in May, LOOOP was started to encourage people to tackle the throwaway culture by giving life to pre-loved pieces that you may not wear anymore.
Instead of dumping them at recycling bins or letting them end up in a landfill, the three founders, Emma, Adani, and Bay, decided to open a clean thrift store that allows people to buy and sell.

LOOOP takes in roughly 500 pieces of clothing every week.
Here's how the process works:
2. Once you've dropped off your clothes, the team will go through them to check for any defects, stains, or holes.
3. All of the clothes will be sorted, labelled, and arranged accordingly. This process can take up to a week before you receive a confirmation price email.
The maximum number of clothes you can bring in per appointment is 20 pieces. Each person is allowed one slot per month.
Your curated items will be put up on sale for eight weeks; five weeks at full price, two weeks at 20% off, and on the last week, 50% off
You will then receive a 40% cut of the sales via bank transfer.
