Ingredients you'll need:
- 60g glutinous rice flour, or mochiko
- 30g sugar
- 100ml water
- 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp MILO
- Corn starch or potato starch
Step 1: Whip cream, sugar, and MILO together until stiff peaks form. Then, use teaspoons to scoop out small balls onto a plate and pop them in the freezer to slightly firm up.
She explains that the reason this is done is so that it's easier to wrap the filling in the mochi later on. However, they do not need to become completely frozen.

Step 2: Whisk together glutinous rice flour, sugar, and water until there are no lumps. Then, put it in the microwave on 'High' for one minute.
Take it out of the microwave and give it a stir.
Repeat this process for another one minute, 30 seconds, and 30 seconds, each time removing and stirring before putting it back into the microwave.

Optionally, if you don't have a microwave, she shares that you can just steam the mochi for around 15 minutes instead.
Step 3: Once the mochi has cooled down slightly, dust with corn starch or potato starch and split into roughly even pieces

Step 4: Take the filling that was put in the fridge earlier and pinch the mochi shut around it

Step 5: Once you've pinched shut all of the mochi pieces, roll them in MILO powder, and that's it
