This 'Underground Food Court' In KL Serves Amazing Japanese Food
Malaysian YouTuber Dan Khoo recently shared his experience which has gone viral.
We may not be able to travel far right now. But thankfully, Malaysia has a 'food court' that'll make you feel like you're in Japan.

You've probably heard of Isetan and its creamy cheesecake that's to die for.
But have you ever dined at the Japanese store's 'food court'?
Malaysian YouTuber Dan Khoo recently visited The Market at Isetan The Japan Store and was blown away by his experience.
He posted a review on his new food page, Dan's Little Kitchen. And in just two days, the Facebook post garnered over 1,000 shares.

The Market is located at the lower ground of Lot 10 and has multiple restaurants that serve delicious Japanese food, from sushi and bento to fancier meals like slabs of wagyu
Khoo shared that he tried out one of the restaurants which allows you to select your meat and chefs can cook it in front of you for RM10.

Depending on your preference, they offer meat like sirloin and wagyu. Prices for each piece vary from roughly RM40 to RM150; however, they do have cheaper selections as well.
He recommends going there early to get the best option.

Once you've selected your meat, you can tell the chefs how you want it to be cooked – rare, medium rare, medium, or well done.

He tried the sirloin cut medium cooked, which cost about RM60, including the chef's fee, and said that the portion was enough for two.

You can also order sides. He got the gyoza, tamagoyaki, unagi, and other yummy dishes.

He added that the unagi tasted so good, they were tempted to order another one.
Overall, they spent RM300 for six people (about RM50 per person), which he felt was totally worth it considering that they got to try all kinds of dishes.

The Market isn't exactly a typical food court. The whole area provides a slightly atas dining experience with a good selection of affordable to higher-priced meals.
Although the main focus is cooked food, there are also Japanese snacks and alcohol available.
I personally visited one of the bars that served Suntory draught, which cost about RM10 to RM15. And I thoroughly enjoyed the quiet ambiance.
It's a great place for date nights, meetups with friends, or just a peaceful solo outing.

There's an escalator from outside that takes you straight to the basement where The Market is at or you can enter through the mall itself
