The 2022 mooncake series by Mandarin Oriental feature two gift boxes encompassing four or six pieces of mooncake.

The box of four is a bamboo gift box (RM138) with the following flavours:

4. Low sugar white lotus paste

Pavilion KL's Moonlight Garden Mooncake Collection encases four traditionally baked mooncakes in an artfully-crafted container, which doubles as a rechargeable lantern.

The exterior of the lantern is layered with paper cut-out scenes of a moonlit garden, over a translucent sheet that illuminates from a battery-operated bulb within. A little decorative addition as a gift!

Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur reunites with award-winning Malaysian fashion designer, Melinda Looi, for another year of collaborative Mid-Autumn journey featuring 'The House of Shí Wǔ 十五之家' (The House of Fifteen). Each box comes with four mooncakes.

Presenting itself as an avant-garde Mid-Autumn advent calendar that celebrates the classic heritage of Peranakan culture in Malaysia, the miniature wooden house also moonlights as a multipurpose box and décor, with an intricate exterior that showcases the timeless motifs of iconic Peranakan homes.
