The lengths people go to making unique menu items sometimes leave customers scratching their heads upon seeing the ingredients

On 26 February, Menya Shi Shi Do Ramen Bar in PJ announced on Facebook and Instagram of a new dish: ramen topped with a croissant.

Yeah, we know. We asked the same thing.

"Our mission is to bring the Authentic Japanese Ramen experience to each and every one of you. However, this time around, we are proud to introduce a one of kind collaboration bowl," the restaurant proudly wrote in their Facebook post. "You heard it right. Noodle and bread together. Sounds like a heavy meal, [doesn't] it? Don't worry, it's not. Croissant is a buttery flaky bread that matches our creamy tonkotsu soup that satisfies your hunger."

The ramen bowl is a combination of black garlic curry soup with two slices of char siew, topped with brown Shimeji mushrooms, bean sprouts, cabbage, egg, and of course, the star of the show, a croissant.

This is not the first time the ramen bar has introduced unusual ramen combos in their menu

Menya Shi Shi Do Ramen Bar previously served Matcha RamenNasi Lemak Dry RamenBak Kut Teh Ramen, and their most recent combination, a Valentine's special Chocolate Ramen.
