20-Year-Old M'sian Student In Critical Condition After Colliding With Bus In The UK
The student suffered critical injuries to her head and was rushed to the hospital for surgery.
A 20-year-old Malaysian student is in critical condition after she collided with a bus while cycling in Manchester, England on Monday, 28 December
According to Manchester Evening News, emergency services attended the crash on Wilmslow Road in Rusholme at 4.25pm in the evening.
Early enquiries by the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) established that both the bus and the cyclist were travelling northbound along the road when they collided at a junction.

New Straits Times reported that the student, Nur Izzah Mohd Shokri, is a first-year accounting and finance student at the University of Manchester.
She was sent to Salford Royal Hospital for neurosurgery.
Arrangements for her parents, who live in Karak, Pahang, to be flown over as soon as possible are being made by Education Malaysia UK student affairs attaché Firdaus Zakaria.

It is, however, still unclear how the collision occurred. No arrests have been made and investigations are still ongoing.
Police are calling for eyewitnesses around the area at the time or drivers who have dashcam footage to come forward and assist the investigation.
GMP Serious Collision Investigation Unit Police Constable Karl Horner said, "A woman was left with serious injuries following this awful incident and our thoughts are very much with her as she receives the treatment she needs in hospital."
"Our enquiries are ongoing as we try to ascertain all the facts surrounding the incident and we want to take this opportunity to appeal to anyone who may have been in the area at the time or witnessed the incident to come forward and speak with police," said Horner.
