4YO Boy Who Went Missing For A Week Is Believed To Have Been Killed & Dumped In A River
A babysitter and her husband, as well as the boy's parents, have been arrested to assist in the investigation.

The police believe that four-year-old Eric Chang Wei Jie who has been missing for a week was killed and had his body dumped in the Sarawak River at Muara Tebas
According to The Borneo Post, Kuching district police chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah said in a statement yesterday, 13 March, that the police have reclassified the case from Section 31(1) of the Child Act 2001 to Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
He added that a babysitter and her husband will be further remanded to assist in the investigation.
The babysitter, who was arrested on 9 March, confessed to the police that she knew what transpired to Eric yesterday.
The case began when the boy's mother — Dynasty Chang — filed a missing person's report on her son on 7 March.
It is learnt that the mother was unwell and was hospitalised due to her pregnancy, reported China Press.
She had entrusted a friend to take care of her son at Taman Riverview, Bintawa.
On 11 March, the police arrested all four suspects — the babysitter and her husband as well as Chang's parents — in connection with his disappearance
They were investigated for ill treatment, neglect, abandonment, or exposure of children in a manner likely to cause them physical or emotional injury.
All four suspects tested positive for drugs and had a total of 17 criminal records to their names for drug-related offences, property crimes, and commercial crimes, reported The Borneo Post.
The babysitter and her husband were brought to the Muara Tebas jetty by the police to assist in the investigation yesterday.
However, Chang's body is yet to be found.

A team comprising 12 personnel from the police, Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), and Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) continued the search today, 14 March
"It was drizzling (at the search area) at 8am today and the team will conduct their search within two to three nautical mile radius from the estuary to the sea," a spokesperson told The Borneo Post.
"The assets that the team are using are the police's PSC II vessel, four aluminium boats belonging to Bomba, and one boat (Kilat 35) belonging to MMEA."
"With the water level receding, we hope to find the victim's body."
Meanwhile, Taman Riverview's Kapitan Chung Chong Chong related that the residential area is a safe and friendly neighbourhood where people have been living and working harmoniously, reported New Sarawak Tribune.
Residents in the area were shocked to learn that the babysitter and her husband are among the suspects in the case.
Chung said the couple moved into the neighbourhood a few months ago.
Despite being a close-knit community where everybody knows everybody, Chung said the residents do not really know much about the couple except that they rented the unit they lived in.
