75-Year-Old Man Collapses & Dies At Ramadan Bazaar
The elderly man died on the first day of Ramadan.
A 75-year-old man died while visiting a Ramadan bazaar in Kupang, Kedah on Sunday, 2 March
According to Kosmo!, the deceased, identified as Zainon Said, went to the bazaar in Taman Seri Harapan with his son-in-law on separate motorcycles at around 4pm.
"My father-in-law arrived at the bazaar first. After parking his motorcycle in a safe spot, he entered the bazaar.
"After passing several stalls, he suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness," said Zaishamsolazman Che Teh, the deceased's son-in-law.
When Zainon fell, his head narrowly missed getting trapped under a food stall's stove. Bystanders quickly rushed to help him.
"However, after health officers arrived, they confirmed that my father-in-law had died.
"He had a heart condition and his health had not been great for the past few days, but he did not show any noticeable changes," said Zaishamsolazman.
