[BREAKING] Police Searching For Nora Quoirin Have Found A Body In The Jungle

The discovery was made 10 days since the teenager went missing.

10 days since the search for missing 15-year-old Nora Quoirin began, a body has reportedly been found in Pantai Hills

According to Mirror, an officer confirmed that security personnel conducting the search and rescue operation made the discovery today, 13 August.

"I can confirm a body has been found in the Berembun mountains. It is not in an accessible place," State Police chief Mohammed Yusop said.

Nora's parents were brought to the site of the discovery at 4.17pm.

The body has been identified as a female Caucasian

According to The Star, Yusop told reporters that, "Our forensics and pathologists are at the crime scene, but we have yet to establish the identity of the victim."

Two forensic vans and several police vehicles were seen entering the area, which has been sealed off with police tape

Deputy IGP Datuk Mazlan Mansor later confirmed that the body has been found and that police are "very certain" it belongs to Nora. More details were also revealed in the press conference:

This comes one day after a RM50,000 reward was offered by the Quoirin family to help find Nora:

Nora was discovered to have gone missing from The Dusun Rainforest Resort in Negeri Seremban on 4 August. Read more about the case here:
