Contract Workers Find 20KG Python In A Drain In PJ Housing Area
It took approximately 15 minutes to remove the python from its hiding place.
On Saturday, 28 October, a 5m-long python was discovered in a drain in front of a house in Section 11, Petaling Jaya
The 20kg snake was found by contract workers in the residential area who later informed the homeowner of its location, reported New Straits Times.
The homeowner then contacted the Selangor Civil Defence Force (APM) around 1.20pm, according to a Selangor APM spokesperson.

The spokesperson shared that it took approximately 15 minutes to remove the python from its hiding place
"APM members who arrived at 2.05pm took almost 15 minutes to remove the python from the drain.
"The task of extracting the python took about 15 minutes to ensure that the snake could not act aggressively besides ensuring the safety of the four APM members carrying out the snake-catching task," he told Berita Harian.
