Gamuda Land is strengthening its commitment to fostering vibrant communities by supporting local entrepreneurs through its GL Business Get Set Go initiative

The programme offers financial support, including capital expenditure grants and rental subsidies, to help small businesses establish and grow within Gamuda Land's townships.

By reducing barriers to entry, the initiative aims to strengthen the local economy and create vibrant, experience-driven communities.

Since its launch, the campaign has attracted over 100 business applications, demonstrating strong interest from entrepreneurs.

The first group of grant recipients will expand their businesses to multiple locations, including Townsquare Lifestyle Retail at Gamuda Cove, Gardens Square at Gamuda Gardens, and Quayside Mall at twentyfive7.

By integrating a diverse mix of retail, lifestyle, and essential services, Gamuda Land aims to create self-sustaining ecosystems where communities can live, work, and connect effortlessly

To further support local entrepreneurs, the developer is introducing quarterly networking events, offering a platform for business owners to collaborate, exchange ideas, and build strategic partnerships. This ecosystem-driven approach ensures sustainable growth for both businesses and the community.

"Our goal is to create communities where businesses and people can thrive together," said Wong Siew Lee, Chief Operating Officer of Gamuda Land.

"This initiative is a three-way win: for us as a developer, our townships thrive with the right mix of commercial businesses; for the community, it means enjoying retail conveniences within walking distance; and for local businesses, it's an opportunity to grow and expand with the right support. It's about creating an ecosystem where everyone benefits."

One of the key locations benefiting from this initiative is Townsquare Lifestyle Retail at Gamuda Cove, the township's first retail and entertainment hub

Offering a dynamic mix of shops, dining options, and community spaces, the development is set to thrive with an influx of visitors from the nearby SplashMania WaterPark — an 18-acre attraction featuring 39 rides and experiences.

Gamuda Cove is also enhancing its connectivity and accessibility, with an integrated e-tram service linking residential areas to key destinations such as Discovery Park, Townsquare Lifestyle Retail, and SplashMania WaterPark.

Additionally, the upcoming 2km toll-free Cyberjaya-Link, slated for completion in August 2025, will significantly reduce travel time to Cyberjaya, Putrajaya, and surrounding areas.

By 2025, Gamuda Cove is projected to attract two million annual visitors, reinforcing its position as a premier lifestyle and commercial hub. Other Gamuda Land townships are also seeing similar growth, with Gardens Square at Gamuda Gardens expected to welcome one million annual visitors and Quayside Mall at twentyfive7 drawing an impressive 600,000 monthly visitors.

As part of its commercial expansion strategy, Townsquare Lifestyle Retail and Gardens Square, both set to open in Q2 2025, will feature a curated mix of renowned brands and essential services, including ASAI Hotel by Dusit Group, Taylor's Education Group, Jaya Grocer, Star Grocer, ZUS Coffee, llaollao, 7CAfé, ChaTraMue, Gigi Coffee, Caring Pharmacy, Yilo Restaurant & Bar, and OldTown White Coffee.

This marks just the beginning of the GL Business Get Set Go initiative, with more businesses set to benefit in the coming months.
