Earlier today, 2 June, Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob took to his Facebook page to upload a photo

In the photo, that was uploaded at 4.14pm, the Senior Minister is seen standing outside a closed door with his nameplate on it — believed to be his office — while holding the handle.

In the caption of the post, Ismail wrote that he "has closed the front door but....".

The nameplate on the door recognises Ismail by his Defence Minister title.

The post has since gone viral

At the time of writing this story, the Senior Minister's post has attracted over 36,000 reactions with more than 6,000 shares. It has also garnered more than 7,000 comments in just over an hour.

Many have taken screenshots of the post and spread it on Twitter, too.

Ismail's post, which ends abruptly, has prompted many to wonder what exactly was the Senior Minister implying with his cryptic caption

Under the post, some netizens suggested that Ismail might be referring to the efforts taken by the Perikatan Nasional administration in enforcing the current lockdown to stop the spread of the virus.

The Senior Minister has been holding individual as well as joint press conferences to keep people updated with regards to enforcement measures being taken by authorities.

Malaysia is currently under a total lockdown until 14 June

The nationwide full lockdown, which has also been dubbed the 'full movement control order' (FMCO), is in effect from 1 June to 14 June. All economic and social activities have been ordered shut.
