KJ And Nurul Izzah's Tweets On Her Resignation Give Malaysians Hope For Bipartisanship
Netizens are praising them for their respectful exchange and relationship.
Yesterday, 17 December, Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar made headlines by resigning from all positions she holds within Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR)
In response to her announcement, Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin posted a touching dedication to Nurul Izzah, whom he called "an exemplary MP and worthy opponent"
"I am sure once the country is finally ready for a generational change in politics, Nurul Izzah will be back," the former UMNO youth chief wrote.
"It would be a terrible waste if she doesn't return to frontline politics," he added.
Calling Khairy "an inspiration across the bench" since 2008, Nurul Izzah's complementary reply was equally heartwarming
"Can't imagine Malaysia without your towering political footprint. Rooting for you, albeit as a mere MP now - but rooting nonetheless," she responded in a tweet 20 minutes later.
