KL's Iconic Coliseum Cinema, Café & Hotel From The 1920s Are Up For Sale
A real estate consultancy said the heritage properties can be purchased together or separately.
The 104-year-old Coliseum Cinema, and its adjacent Coliseum Café and Hotel, in downtown Kuala Lumpur are up for sale
According to a LinkedIn post by Knight Frank Malaysia, the company has been exclusively appointed to market the sale of the iconic pre-war, free-hold colonial buildings.
"Built in 1920, the Art Deco-style cinema is the oldest and continuously running cinema hall in the country. If required, vacant possession can be provided to the new purchaser.
"The adjacent café and hotel — now vacant — has a long history dating back over a century," stated the real estate consultancy.

Located on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Coliseum Cinema is still showing movies today, run by Lotus Five Star Cinemas, while its next-door café closed for business in 2021
Among their key investment highlights, Knight Frank Malaysia said the properties enjoy good accessibility and are well-connected via various main roads serving the city centre.
The company added that they are currently inviting offers for the two heritage properties, which can be purchased together or separately.
