M'sian Man Shot 3 Times While Riding A Motorcycle In Thailand
Thai police are investigating whether the motive behind the attack was due to a personal or business dispute.
A Malaysian man was shot three times and suffered injuries to his stomach and thigh while he was riding a motorcycle in Yala province, Thailand
According to New Straits Times, the 55-year-old victim was shot at Jalan Chantharothai, Betong, at 9pm local time last Saturday, 11 February.
Pengkalan Hulu police chief deputy Supt Zulkepli Ibrahim said the incident happened near a 24-hour convenience store.

The man is currently being treated at Betong Hospital
Utusan Malaysia reported that the suspect is believed to be a Thai national and he managed to flee the scene.
At the time of publication, the suspect is still at large. The police are intensifying efforts to identify and locate him.

"The case is being investigated by the Thai police to determine the motive behind the attack, whether it was a personal dispute or business-related," Zulkepli said
New Straits Times reported that the victim had been travelling between Betong and Pengkalan Hulu, Perak, for years, as he was believed to have a Thai national wife.
It is also reported that he ran an entertainment business in Betong town.
The victim had prior criminal records involving drugs in the country.
