These 17 Main Roads In KL Will Be Closed For A Cycling Event On Sunday

About 2,700 cyclists will be participating in the Kuala Lumpur OCBC Cycle 2024 event on Sunday, 3 March.

A total of 17 main roads in the capital city will be closed for the Kuala Lumpur OCBC Cycle 2024 event on Sunday, 3 March

According to Malay Mail, Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department deputy chief Supt Suffian Abdullah said the closure of the main roads will be carried out in stages from 6.30am to 9am.

"Just like last year, the police will assist in the management of traffic flow," he said on Tuesday, 27 February, when explainingthe traffic flow plan for the event.

Suffian said preparations are in place to ensure the closure of the main roads in the heart of the city will be carried out smoothly

More than 2,700 people are expected to participate in the Kuala Lumpur OCBC Cycle event this year, with participants being divided into two categories, 21km and 42km.

The roads that will be involved in the event are:
- Jalan Raja Laut
- Jalan Tun Perak
- Jalan Lebuh Ampang
- Jalan Munshi Abdullah
- Jalan Dang Wangi
- Jalan Sultan Ismail
- Jalan Raja Chulan
- Jalan Perak
- Jalan P Ramlee
- Jalan Ampang
- Jalan Kuching
- Lebuhraya Sultan Iskandar
- Jalan Parlimen
- Jalan Sultan Salahuddin
- Jalan Kuching
- Jalan Kinabalu
- Jalan Raja
